7-month Growing Green Skills Course

The GROWING GREEN SKILLS course is a 7-month residential course that will provide you with all the tools to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and the practical implementation of sustainable development goals. You will learn permaculture principles and mindful consumption practices, during a 7-month stay at Avnø Highschool.

Discover the joy of conscious consumption, sustainable living and meaningful connections while obtaining a Permaculture Design Certificate (PDC) and growing green skills.

By immersing yourself in our community for an extended period, you will come to appreciate the advantages of a simpler, more fulfilling life and lay the groundwork for transformative changes in your own life.

You will learn how to grow your own food, to keep a healthy diet, to implement permaculture designs, to take responsibility and to create quality bonds with people.

The course includes 2 excursions every month to different eco-villages, forest gardens, production facilities, farms, smallholdings, a ceramics workshop, linen production, fabric creation, and other activities.
